Links

One of the primary reasons that the Web works so well is the ability to include links or hyperlinks on HTML pages that take the viewer from one file/page to another by clicking on the link in the text. Links usually appear as (blue) underlined text. On the Web, underlined text means a link.
To add a link in Word:

  1. Click on the Insert tab, then select Hyperlink.
    MS Word Toolbar: Create Hyperlink
  2. Fill in the Text to display box. This is the text that will appear on the page.
  3. Fill in the Address box. The address is the URL of the Web site that you are providing for your students.
    Insert Hyperlink Box
