This page announces scheduled maintenance periods and tracks unexpected system downtime for faculty who need to confirm student access.
Scheduled Maintenance
Every Sunday morning between 7:00 am and 12 noon is reserved as a routine maintenance and backup window for Webcourses@UCF. The full downtime window may not be used, so students and faculty may be able to log on before the end of this time period. However, we ask that faculty do not schedule due dates or exams during this maintenance window to ensure student access.

WebCT@UCF was down from 10 am until 6 pm for updates in preparation for the fall semester.

WebCT@UCF will be down between 7 am and 12 noon for necessary maintenance.

Friday, June 6 - WebCT@UCF Downtime
WebCT@UCF was brought down and restarted between 12:30 am and 3 am to address HVAC issues in the server room. Due to these issues, users may have experienced intermittent issues starting at around 10 pm.

WebCT@UCF went down unexpectedly from 11 am until 1:30 pm due to a network switch issue in Computer Services.

Due to a cooling issue in Computer Services, WebCT@UCF was down from 2:25 pm until 3:35 pm.
