Scheduled Downtimes
This page announces scheduled maintenance periods and tracks unexpected system downtime for faculty who need to confirm student access.
Scheduled Maintenance
Every Sunday morning between 7:00 am and 12 noon is reserved as a routine maintenance and backup window for Webcourses@UCF. The full downtime window may not be used, so students and faculty may be able to log on before the end of this time period. However, we ask that faculty do not schedule due dates or exams during this maintenance window to ensure student access.

Tuesday, September 29 - Webcourses@UCF
Some users may have experienced slowness or a temporary disconnect from Webcourses@UCF between 3:20 pm and 4:30 pm. The issue was immediately resolved.

Wednesday, September 16 - Webcourses@UCF
Due to a back-end process, a few users may have experienced a brief slowdown or loss of connection to Webcourses@UCF at 8:43 am.

Saturday, August 8 - Webcourses@UCF restart
Webcourses@UCF was restarted to address a database issue. The server was down from 10:05 am until 10:45 am.

Sunday, August 16 - Webcourses@UCF
Beginning at 7 am on Sunday, August 16 until 6 pm Webcourses@UCF will be unavailable while the server is undergoing updates and maintenance to prepare for the fall semester.

Sunday, June 21 - Webcourses@UCF Weekly Downtime
Webcourses@UCF will be brought down an hour earlier than our usual weekly maintenance window to address recent performance issues. Webcourses@UCF will be down beginning at 6 am. The full downtime window may not be used, so students and faculty may be able to log on before the end of the regular maitnenace window.

Friday, June 19 - Webcourses@UCF Restart
Some users reported performance issues beginning at about 11 pm Thursday, June 18. Webcourses@UCF was restarted at approximately 12:25 am to address these issues. The system was fully available again at 12:45 am.

Wednesday, June 17 - Webcourses@UCF
Webcourses@UCF experienced a technical issue starting around 11 pm that required a restart, and was back online at 12:20 am Thursday 6/18.
