As of the Fall 2009 term, ALL Student Perception of Instruction (SPI) evaluations will be delivered online via the myUCF portal. Faculty are no longer required to request evaluations via the Faculty Webcourse Manager, and paper surveys will not be supplied.
ALL courses, regardless of the delivery mode, will have an online Student Perception of Instruction (SPI) evaluation.
Your students will have access to the SPI for your course when the evaluation period begins. They must access your course via the myUCF portal in order to access the SPI.
The following message may be sent to students via email. If you are using Webcourses@UCF, you may deliver the message via the Announcement tool.
Questions 17 through 25 on the SPoI are blank and may be used for questions specific to your course. To notify students of these questions, please insert paragraph four with the question number(s) and text of the question(s).It’s time to complete the Student Perception of Instruction for your courses. Your comments on the evaluation forms are collected outside of each course and CANNOT be viewed by your professor until after grades are posted.
All SPoI's are online and may be accessed via the myUCF portal. Log into https://my.ucf.edu and click on the “Online Course Tools” tab. A prompt will appear with a list of courses available for you to evaluate. Click the link for your course and the evaluation form will open. You may return to the list of courses until evaluations are completed for ALL your courses. Warning: Once you select the option to begin a SPoI evaluation for a course, you must complete and submit it. You cannot save the form and submit it later.
If you have difficulty accessing the form or do not get the option to complete the form, please contact the Techrangers at http://techrangers.ucf.edu/support
For my ABC1000-0001 course, I would like to add (an) extra question(s) to the SPoI. I appreciate your honest feedback so I may improve this course for future students. Please copy and paste the text of the question into the SPoI form and add your comments.
Remember, I cannot see your comments until AFTER grades are posted.| Term | Evaluation Period Begins | Evaluation Period Ends |
