



Skills for Success
When teaching online there are certain skills that you must master in order to overcome the learning curve for the courseware that you will be using. It is also important to make sure that your Internet Browser is configured to work with the courseware that you will be using. Course Development and Web Services uses WebCT to facilitate online learning here at UCF. We conduct regularly scheduled face-to-face instructional sessions to teach you the necessary skills for creating and delivering an online course, however, sometimes you may need to locate a quick fix for a certain challenges that you encounter. The following resources will help you.
- Tips and Tricks Your computer will be your vehicle to the online environment so make sure that you can "drive" to your destination by performing a Browser Tune Up and avoiding road hazards like Pop-up Stoppers and Firewalls. Some of you might want to take a shortcut by using an e-Pack or embark on a scenic excursion through Quizzes and Surveys. Whatever direction you travel make sure you perform regular Maintenance and updates to each of your courses to keep them running like a fine tuned car.
